Rebecca Urbano Powell

Rebecca Urbano Powell is the Executive Director of Seven Dimensions Behavioral Health. Rebecca has been working in the field of ABA since 2001 in clinic, community, home, and school settings. From 2005-2014, she helped start and grow the ABA Program in Tustin Unified School District in Orange County, CA to 80+ ABA staff and 120+ students. Rebecca has co-authored and led teacher/staff trainings in ABA, behavior management systems, and inclusive schooling for district employees and BCBA level clinicians. Rebecca is passionate about implementing organizational behavior management strategies to improve employee performance and client experience. Her current passion project is advocating for public policy to remove barriers to quality treatment across funding sources and settings, including medically necessary ABA in Colorado schools.

JJ Tomash

Dr. J.J. Tomash received his Ph.D. from Swansea University, in the UK. He researched novel interpretations of B.F. Skinner’s work and applicability to the traditionally mentalistic field of polygraph testing. He has studied behavioral science for 25 years, devoting the last decade specifically to Applied Behavior Analysis as a BCBA-D. His focus is on severe behavior, early intervention, verbal behavior, and social behavior. In 2015, along with his wife Nicole, he founded BehaviorSpan, one of the first center-based Early Intervention programs in Denver. It has grown to over 60 employees across two centers. He spends his free time on other projects to advance ABA in Colorado and general. He chaired the DHS Mill Levy Advisory Council from 2018-2021, and recommended millions of dollars in plans that benefit the ID/D population in Denver. More recently he founded an ABA technology company (Acquire Learning), and a Colorado nonprofit organization (CASC) which has raised more than $50,000 to improve access to high quality ABA treatment in Colorado.

Bethany Coop

Bethany Coop is a dedicated and passionate professional who has committed her life to
positively impacting the lives of children with significant developmental delays and their families.
As a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), she has become a driving force in behavioral
analysis, particularly in mentorship and advocacy work within the field of profound
developmental disabilities. Currently, she is pursuing her PhD to further advance services for
children with profound disabilities, deepening her impact in the field.
Bethany’s journey in behavior analysis began with a deep-rooted commitment to advocacy and
equality. As a high school student, she collaborated with Proud Young Americans for Truth to
raise awareness about the Americans with Disabilities Act, educating voters on the importance
of this landmark legislation. This initial spark of advocacy was fueled by personal experiences
when her first child was diagnosed with developmental disabilities, inspiring her to champion
equal rights and access to essential services for individuals with disabilities. Since those early
days, Bethany has had the privilege to share her knowledge and expertise on numerous boards
and committee appointments all focused on supporting families within our communities.
Bethany’s academic journey led her to Penn State, where she embarked on becoming a BCBA.
Her passion for helping children with developmental delays and nurturing the next generation of
behavior analysts led her to establish Over the Rainbow Behavioral Consulting. Through this
company, Bethany provided essential support and therapeutic services to families in rural
Colorado. After 15 years of successfully running the clinic, she has now retired from clinic
ownership to focus on mentorship for BCBAs working in the profound disabilities field, as well as
continuing her advocacy efforts. Bethany’s current role at ClearPath Behavioral Solutions allows
her to guide the next generation of BCBAs, empowering them to provide ethical and
compassionate care.
Beyond her professional accomplishments, Bethany is a devoted mother to two children and
has shared over 20 years of marital bliss with her husband. Their home in Colorado is lively,
filled with love, laughter, and a menagerie of beloved pets.
Bethany Coop’s life is a shining example of dedication, compassion, and advocacy, inspiring
those who aspire to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others, particularly children and
families facing developmental challenges.

Emily Ice

Emily Ice, PhD, BCBA-D is the Executive Director and sleep mentor of Step-In Autism Services and assistant instructor for Capella University. She is actively involved in public policy efforts across several states and enjoys empowering the “everyday behavior analyst” to be advocates through their practices. Her doctoral focus was in the application of ABA to sleep related behaviors. She has over 2 decades of clinical experience from entry level to the terminal degree roles.

Diane Carballo Allen

Diane Carballo Allen, M.S., BCBA, IBA, is a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst with over 18 years of experience in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). She is also an International Behavior Analyst (IBA) and a certified Organizational Behavior Management (OBM) Specialist. Diane’s work spans clinical, educational, and systems-level domains, with a consistent focus on ethical practice, compassionate care, and meaningful outcomes.</p><p>Diane has provided behavior analytic services in diverse settings including schools, clinics, hospitals, group homes, community programs, and psychiatric inpatient facilities. While working on the Behavior Support Team at a hospital in NYC, Diane served individuals across the lifespan under the direction of the U.S. Department of Justice. She also has extensive experience supporting professional development in the field, having worked with organizations providing continuing education and mentoring.</p><p>From 2019 to 2022, Diane was a Subject Matter Expert for the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB), contributing to the BCaBA Standard Setting Committee and Ethics Item Writing Task Force. She was also appointed to her local county’s Behavioral Health Technical Advisory Committee, where she supported funding and policy recommendations to improve behavioral health services.</p><p>Currently, Diane provides consultation and supervision services to various school districts and is an adjunct professor in ABA at Purdue Global. She is also an active member of the Colorado Association for Behavior Analysis (COABA), where she serves on the Board of Directors and chairs the Dissemination Committee and webinar subcommittee.</p><p>Diane is passionate about advancing ethical, inclusive, and sustainable practices within the field and wwis committed to mentoring, disseminating best practices, and supporting professional growth in behavior analysise.
