In this issue, COABA proudly highlights a theme central to our mission and the roots of our science: Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, Accessibility, and Justice (DEIAJ). These principles are not side projects or temporary initiatives — they are essential to ethical and effective practice. Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is an optimistic science built on improving quality of life for all people, and as Dr. Malika Pritchett reminds us, “Social justice is the spirit and aim of an applied science of human behavior.”
